Please introduce your company briefly.
Reboot Life was founded to help customers restore balance in the bodies and start healthy lives again.
I have met more than 10,000 members while running a private exercise studio with a systematic system for 10 years. As I analyzed the exercise management data, I realized that the members were focusing only on the external ones, and I learned that the members can complete a healthy diet only by taking care of the inner health rather than the external beauty. For the importance of inner beauty management and a healthy diet for customers, we have made the first patented lactobacillus with detox effect for the first time in Korea.
While the existing probiotics market focuses only on improving the intestinal environment or adding other raw materials to make functional products, Reboot Life’s Reboot Cleanse Lactobacillus uses a patented strain that has a detox function within the strain itself to improve the intestinal environment as well as detox, and It is a functional premium product with antioxidant function.
Please introduce the patented lactobacillus you developed.
Our Reboot Cleanse Lactobacillus is the first patented lactobacillus with detox effect developed first time in Korea. Weissella cibaria D30, our first patented strain with the detox effect fir the first time in Korea, was developed by Professor Baek Hyun-dong, an expert in probiotics in the Department of Food Science and Biotechnology, Konkuk University. Reboot Cleanse Lactobacillus added with a patented strain is the only product that utilizes a functional patented strain that includes detox and anti-aging effect within the strain itself.
Reboot Cleanse Lactobacillus is a premium product with a proven detoxification effect and safe raw material, along with an antioxidant effect with patented strain that is resistant to antibiotics. You can take it in various ways. You can take it alone or with water. It is in the form of powder, so you can add it in salads, yogurt, and fruit juice.
Unlike other competitors that release new products by adding only marketing ingredients in conventional ingredient formulations, Reboot Lactobacillus has completed the entire process from research and development, design and sales to its own technology by directly combining ingredients suitable for the product.
What are your plans for the future?
This year, we built company-affiliated research institute, and we will continue research and development to secure the unrivaled asset of the patent strain. We plan to develop additional ingredients suitable for detox, antioxidant, and anti-obesity functional strains which the Reboot Life’s technology transfer has been completed. Since it possesses strains with high antioxidant effect, we plan to conduct a virus experiment in cooperation with KCAV, a company specializing in influenza virus vaccine development.
Also, we will actively promote and develop stable products based on our manufacturing capabilities verified through market reaction analysis. With the patent strain, we will develop various types of products to meet customer needs and expand our business to superior ODM production with premium raw materials.
In terms of distribution, we will expand our market share through aggressive market development with domestic and foreign partners, and expand with entry into the domestic and overseas raw material market by entering into a raw material export contract with Italian bio company CSL.
Do you have any countries in your mind for export?
We plan to target the European and American markets. We are in the process of applying for trademarks and labeling in the US and China with export support from aT, and we plan to make a raw material export contract with CSL, an Italian bio company, gradually expanding the market.
Any last words you would like to say?
We intend to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for more people by laying a stable and solid foundation for rebuilding a healthy lifestyle. Developing strains for strengthening immunity that can cope with viruses is also one of the important business goals of Reboot Life at this moment, and we will carry out our mission with ceaseless efforts to expand our market share in the domestic and overseas functional food market.
